New EverQuest Next Game Art Revealed

Fri, Aug 6th, 2010, 11:52 pm (EST) BY ADAM MA

EverQuest is a game that I never personally enjoyed, but deserves a bit of respect. As the forerunner of a lot of MMO concepts, EQ has slipped quite a long way from being king of the hill. Still, it likes like SOE isn't quite ready to let go of the franchise yet. EQ2 is still receiving support after all, and now Massively has drawn some attention to a few interesting (and beautiful) screenshots. More »

DC Universe Online Gets Full Trailer

Sat, Jul 24th, 2010, 11:34 pm (EST) BY ADAM MA

Never judge a book by it's cover. It's a rule of thumb that can be safely applied to most aspects of life, video game trailers included. That being said, it's hard not to be absolutely blown away by the amount of detail that's been put into DC Universe Online's CG opener. It explains the plot, provides some character background, and throws down an action-packed gauntlet. More »

After a ton of speculation, which has spanned what seems like years, David Jaffe finally announced the game that Eat Sleep Play have been working on - the industry's worst kept secret, Twisted Metal.

No release date was set, and it doesn't look like it will support Move in any way whatsoever, but the core gameplay still looks exceedingly fun and it looks like there will be a ton of new additions. More »

TGS 2009: LittleBigPlanet PSP Hands-On

Posted on 2009/10/08 BY KYLE WYNEN

At Sony's booth at Tokyo Game Show 2009 were a number of PSP games. So many in-fact that Sony opted for a ticket system to keep some sanity in the booth, instead of a set of individual lines. LittleBigPlanet PSP was one of the titles on display among other first and third party titles at Sony's booth, so when Gaming Union took its turn at the ticket counter, pouring over Japanese images of PSP game logos like we were at an ice cream shop choosing flavours, LittleBigPlanet PSP was one of our first choices. DC Universe Online Packs a Punch

Posted on 2009/06/17 BY ALEX

One of the more pleasant surprises of this year’s E3 was DC Universe Online, an upcoming title from SOE. The game involves the player making their own superhero (or supervillain) and unleashing them upon Metropolis and Gotham City. While iconic characters such as Superman, Batman and The Joker will be present and prominent, they won’t be playable, instead playing a role as teammates during missions. If your ideal superhero has traits similar to them, never fear; Superman-like strength and Batmanesque acrobatics are all within reach as superpowers! More »
