No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle is exactly the kind of game the Nintendo Wii needs. It's funny, extremely well crafted, has some solid core gameplay and it's a game directed specifically at gamers. However, for all its positives, there are some downfalls and they mainly revolve around what seems to be an over-abundance of creativity. While some of the unique gameplay elements work, some of them really don't and it's the ones that don't that really stop No More Heroes 2 from being a truly great title. More »

Suda51: No More Heroes To Stay On Wii

Last month Goichi Suda, or Suda51 as he is more commonly known, rocked the worlds of Nintendo fans when translations of an interview seemed to signal that future No More Heroes games would be on non-Nintendo consoles, since he had stated that he had gotten as much as he could out of the Wii for the sequel No More Heroes 2, which is set to be released early next year worldwide. No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle To Fix City Issues

One of the glaring issues for most gamers who played the original No More Heroes was the overworld, which was largely baren and served only to act as a way to get get enough money to progress in the game. Suda51 realizes this, and is making it a priority to fix it in No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle, the sequel to the original. In a recent Nintendo Power article, he had this to say:

The city will be more compact and feel more denser. There will be more stuff to do, and you’ll be able to access more activities and minigames from the very beginning. We want to mix it up a little bit more. For example, after you defeat a boss, you might jump into another boss fight immediately. we want to break up the tempo so it’s not always the same thing like it was in the first No More Heroes.
