Dead or Alive, an unusually "exotic" beat-em up series by Team Ninja, makes its way onto the PlayStation Portable for the first time in the form of Dead of Alive: Paradise. It's due to land in all regions on the 2nd of April, but the game is not going for its usual genre this time. KOEI's Dynasty Warriors franchise has grown rapidly over the years and last year saw the release of a PSP title called Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce. It was a rather new take on the traditional format of the game and while gameplay was fairly similar, a lot of aspects had been altered. When Swedish developer Pieces Interactive formed in 2007, they set out to create unique games that would stand out in a crowd. Their second title, Fret Nice, for PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade, does indeed stand out from the crowd, being best described as a "platformer that loves music." However, in this case Pieces may have tried a little too hard to be different, with Fret Nice ending up being a game that sacrifices fun for inventiveness. More »

Quantum Theory now has itself a 'ship date'. In a press release Tecmo Koei America has announced March 2010 as the game's ship date, however a specific day was not mentioned. While the third-person shooter is being developed in Japan, the title will be releasing in North America first. More »

At E3 2009, Koei announced that they were working on two new titles, Warriors: Legends of Troy, and a PlayStation 3 exclusive, Trinity: Souls of Zill O'll (known as Trinity Zill O'll Zero in Japan).

Since then, information has been quite sparse, but with regards to Trinity, things have now started to increase in Japan. Scans have started to be released, giving out more information about the gameplay and the visual qualities that gamers should expect. The latest two scans are no different in this respect either.
