Activision Contemplate Closing PS3 Black Ops Servers

Out of all the games on the market, the Call of Duty franchise has been hit the hardest by the recent hacking of the PlayStation 3 console. There have been numerous security breaches and Activision aren't overly sure about what to do.

Speaking to GamePolitics, Activision's senior support representative Dov Carson said "The publishers have the right to shut down the servers for their game at any time as well which, based on the number of reported posts from users, may be a viable solution over the free PSN."

Certainly bad news for PlayStation 3 gamers, and hopefully Activision and Sony can work together to find a solution which prevents things like this happening.
