Adults-Only Version of Manhunt 2 Hits PCs

It's been a while since Manhunt, Rockstar's controversial gory stealth action game series, has made any waves in the gaming world. Next week Manhunt 2 will likely make some ripples at least, as the game is being released on November 6th for the PC, with a new Adults-Only (AO) ESRB rating.
Manhunt 2 originally had to tone down its strikingly high level of gore to meet the requirements of the ESRB's M rating. As Sony and Nintendo, the two platform makers behind the platforms the game was released on (Wii, PS2 and PSP) simply do not allow AO games on their hardware, Rockstar had little choice but to tone down the game, despite efforts to fight the ESRB's requirements.
The PC market is a different story. There's no one stopping developers and publishers from creating and selling AO games on the PC. So PC gamers may very well be getting their hands on the original cut of the game, perhaps even with a few additions thanks to what AO allows.
Manhunt 2 can be found on Direct2Drive for sale at $29.99 USD, and has some okay system requirements. For those interested, mark your calenders and watch for the game's reception.
