Assassin's Creed 2 Sells 1.6 Million In One Week
Ubisoft have announced that preliminary reports are suggesting that Assassin's Creed II, which was launched in North American and Europe last week, has sold over 1.6 million copies in that time.
Many were worried that similar releases of Modern Warfare 2, Left 4 Dead 2 and New Super Mario Bros Wii would impact the sales of Assassin's Creed II, but clearly Ubisoft have proved the doubts wrong.
It's actually managed to sell 32% more than the original title did in the same period, and the original went on to sell over 8 million units, so there's definitely room for Assassin's Creed II to surpass the original.
