Atlus Releases Shiren The Wanderer Video Walkthrough
With only a few weeks left until Shiren the Wanderer's official release in Japan, Atlus has released a new video walkthrough which gives players a overview of the game's storyline, characters, and improvements over previous titles in the series.
The game takes place in feudal Japan, and comes complete with a localization that takes that into consideration for an authentic feel. Most gamers who have played this type of game know they are notorious for their difficulty, but this title also includes a easier mode for those not accustomed to the genre.
This new easy mode, which is explained in the video, allows players to restart from their previous save, keeping their inventory intact. For gamers wanting a more "hardcore" experience, a normal mode is also available which does away with this change.
When the game was orginally released in Japan, it garnered a 9/9/8/9 from Famitsu, the highest rating any of the games in the series. Shiren the Wanderer will be released in North America on February 9, 2010.
