Band Hero Latest Details Revealed

Guitar Hero, one of the most popular franchises of recent years, has a new addition to the family in the form of Band Hero. Activision is hoping to bring in a far larger audience to play together by providing a vaster repertoire of music artists across the ages and genres.
With much more of an emphasis on the social side and party modes, the game looks to be making it much more accessible to everyone, while retaining a more difficult to master and easy to learn gameplay experience. Like the name suggests, Band Hero is more focused on the Band aspects and will allow players to use and combine guitars, vocals and drums together.
Appearing on the Xbox 360 and PS3, there will also be a Wii version of the game which will feature exclusive modes, and use the Wii/DS connectivity ability, allowing for DS owners to change the bands set list during mid session. Including a mode called Roadie Battle mode whereby, two DS users fight head to head behind the scenes to sabotage and repair the equipment, so that their counterpart Wii guitar player triumphs.
Band Hero is set to feature music artists such as Taylor Swift, No Doubt, Lily Allen, The All-American Rejects, Jackson 5, Maroon 5, Jesse McCartney, Go-Go’s, The Turtles and Janet Jackson. Band Hero is set to be released on all platforms in November, 2009.
