Battlefield 3 Open Beta Oscar Mikes September 29
Publisher Electronic Arts have announced that the beta for DICE's highly anticipated shooter Battlefield 3 will open up to the public by the end of the month on September 29 across all platforms.
Only one game mode will be made available for player testing, but testers will also get to try out Battlelog, the social hub that ties the Battlefield 3 experience together. In addition, those who pre-ordered the PC version through Origin or the limited edition of Medal of Honor will get early access to the beta on September 27.
Battlefield 3 is out on October 25 for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. Reports show that pre-orders have already exceeded 1.5 million units.
