Battlefield 3 Sales Exceed 8 Million Units
EA has revealed that their explosive new first-person shooter, Battlefield 3, has now managed to sell more than 8 million units around the world.
The news was given out to people who were attending the Baird Technology Conference in San Francisco, as EA's CFO Eric Brown took to the stage. This means that since the original launch week, Battlefield 3 has managed to sell another 3 million.
On top of this, Brown stated that they expect the game to continue selling at the same rate. At present, they have shipped 12 million copies of the game to retailers.
