Battlefield 3 Ships Over 10 Million Units
EA has announced that Battlefield 3 has shipped over 10 million units worldwide. By doing so, it was the biggest every one-day shipment that EA had ever undertaken.
The news came from EA's COO Peter Moore, who was speaking to investors. It marks a great few months for EA, as FIFA 12 also managed to ship a huge amount of units when it released in September.
The sales were expected, as EA revealed that over 8 million people had ended up playing the Battlefield 3 beta across PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. Battlefield 3 released this week, GamingUnion.net's review should be up shortly.
