Bayonetta Revelations: Chapter 1
Bayonetta, a game developed by Platinum Games, has often been compared to Devil May Cry - not surprising considering the person who envisioned Bayonetta also started that franchise. However, while the gameplay is reminiscent of several other games the actual interpretation is far more unique. Some of this has been addressed in the latest developer diary to surface on the internet.
The video focuses on explaining the concepts and origins behind the gameplay and the story. It looks at the history of the Witches, and explores some of the back story behind the game. Throughout the video, the opinions of Hideki Kamiya, the game's director, and Yasuke Hashimoto, the producer, are heard and it's definitely interesting to witness their vision.
The game is due out at the end of the week on the 29th of October, 2009 in Japan on both XBox 360 and PS3 platforms. Unfortunately the western release is a little more vague with the game currently penned in for January 2010.
