BioWare Become The Latest Hacking Victim
BioWare has become the latest company to have their security compromised following a hack to one of their servers that supported the Neverwinter Nights forums. The server was said to be a decade old.
In response to the breach, BioWare sent out an email which states that the company believes no credit card information of sensitive data was stolen.
However, they do accept that user names, passwords, email addresses, mailing addresses, names, phone numbers, CD keys and date of births may well have been compromised.
EA has reset passwords on all their accounts as a cautionary measure and if anything suspicious happens, customers are encouraged to call BioWare's support number 1-877-357-6007.
