Bite Into Some New BloodRayne: Betrayal Screens

Last month at E3 2011 we got the chance to try out a playable version of developer WayForward's latest downloadable title BloodRayne: Betrayal. The developer has sent out a new batch of screenshots for the game for those who wanted another peek at the game.

Unlike the previous 3D console titles, Betrayal is a side-scrolling 2D action adventure game similar to games like Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and Metroid but with a vampire and copious amounts of blood for good measure. The story revolves around the titular character Rayne being recruited by the vampire hunting Brimstone Society for one final mission to stop an massacre by a group of evil vampires.

Developer WayForward and publisher Majesco will release the title on Xbox Live Arcade on August 31 and on PSN on August 30 (the date difference is due to when both companies schedule their digital store updates).
