Blizzard Shuts Down StarCraft MMO Rumors
Blizzard has officially announced that they do not plan on developing any StarCraft related MMOs in the near future.
Frank Pearce, cofounder of Blizzard, announced at Gamescom today, "We feel like all the worlds we create would lend themselves well to multiple genres and multiple forms of media," but then admitted "We've got our hands full." He also stated that the only games fans will see of the StarCraft saga in the near future are of course its RTS titles and their expansions.
Fortunately for MMO fans, Blizzard has announced a new MMO which currently remains under the code name "Titan", so perhaps that'll be enough to hold them over.
