Borderlands 2 A Third Larger Than Predecessor
According to the game's art director, Borderlands 2 will approximately a third larger than the original installment into the series.
"It is definitely a bigger world this time around. I'd say we built about a third more space than we had in the last game," said Jeramy Cooke at PAX.
To help people navigate this more easily, the developers have also decided to make the map accessible at all times, through a handy mini-map.
Borderlands 2 is expected to appear at some point during 2012 on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
