Borderlands Sequel 'Seems Like A No-Brainer'
Borderlands was released a few weeks ago and actually did pretty well for itself. There were numerous stories of it even selling out and people are already talking about a sequel.
When speaking with VG247, Mike Neumann, the creative director on the game, decided to fuel speculation even further by saying,
Yes, I can probably confirm that there's a chance of a Borderlands 2. I mean, with anything, especially a new IP, if people want more and you can make more, and everybody can make money and do good business there, it obviously makes really good sense to do that.
So, nothing's for certain, but it definitely sounds like they're interested in making one. For now though, they're concerned with the Borderlands DLC.
