Call of Duty: Black Ops The Best Selling PS3 Game Ever
Activision has claimed that Call of Duty: Black Ops, the latest installment into the Call of Duty franchise, is the best-selling PS3 game of all time.
Despite citing that they used industry recognised resources, such as NPD, ChartTrack and GfK, no figures were provided, but the highest (known) selling game is currently Gran Turismo 5, which sits on 6.37 million units.
Black Ops is the fastest selling game of all-time, so it's not hard to conceive that it has indeed outsold Gran Turismo 5, especially as it's been out a little bit longer. It made $650 million in its first 5 days on sale.
