Capcom Cancels Mega Man Universe
The next Mega Man title, Mega Man Universe, has been cancelled by Capcom. It was supposed to come out on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network this spring.
The do it yourself title, which was an homage to the first two Mega Man games for the Nintendo Entertainment System, had customizable characters and user-generated levels. Capcom released a notice about the cancelation of the game which was due to "various circumstances."
One of the important events which could have played a big role in the cancelation was the resignation of the Mega Man creator, Keiji Inafune, who left the company back in October 2010.
