Capcom Plotting Marvel vs Capcom 3
Marvel vs Capcom 2 is being re-released on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade shortly, but the original was released quite some time ago. While fans are eagerly anticipating the arrival of the title, Marvel vs Capcom 3 would probably take things to a new level.
Gaming Union had the privilege of conducting an interview with Seth Killian, who is the the Community Manager at Capcom, and the topic came up. He made it seem like Marvel vs Capcom 3 is already on the minds of people over at Capcom:
The thought is that if we can make MVC2 a big success we'll have a good first step towards showing the relevant people that a new game [Marvel vs Capcom 3] could be a success.
So there you have it, the success of the Marvel vs Capcom 2 re-release could be a big factor in deciding whether or not both Marvel and Capcom want to go forward with more iterations to the series.
