D3 Publishers Helping Bioshock 2 Reach Japan

The highly anticipated Bioshock 2 has been set for an early 2010 release for a while now, at least in North America. To help Bioshock 2 reach the other side of the pacific, D3 Publishers has signed on with Take Two Interactive to publish the game in Japan.

The original Bioshock was published in Japan, but not by D3 Publishers. Bioshock also didn't sell well in Japan, however Take Two looks to be taking another swing at making ground, sales-wise, in Japan.

The studio behind Bioshock 2's Multiplayer, Digital Extremes, previously worked with Japanese publisher, D3 Publishers, with their previous independently-developed PlayStation and Xbox 360 title, Dark Sector. The difference being that Dark Sector was published in North America and Europe by D3, and not Japan.
