David Reeves Retires From SCEE

Today, Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (SCEI) announced that David Reeves would be retiring from his position at the helm of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE).
David joined SCEE in 1995 and contributed immensely to the success of the Playstation, Playstation 2, Playstation Portable (PSP) and more recently, the Playstation 3. Under his guidance, Playstation has become a huge brand in Europe and other PAL territories and as recognition of his success, Reeves was appointed the President, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Co-Chief Operating Officer (Co-COO). However, he has now decided to call time on his role at Sony and had this to say about what he's going to be doing next:
I am going to spend my time now trying to repay society for all I have taken from it. If your children are having physics lessons at the local school or wondering why their ski instructor is very elderly, your car mechanic has a bad back, or the social worker keeps bringing you PSP games, then it could just be me! Good luck to everybody at SCEE and everybody who continues to support us.Following Reeves' retirement on the 30th of April 2009, Andrew House will assume the role of President, CEO and Co-COO of SCEE. He was previously the Chief Marketing Officier and Group Executive for Sony Corporation and has been with Sony since 1990 where he has worked in numerous Sony divisions around the world.
