Another of the Atlus Spoils
Posted on 2009/07/04 by Shawn
Atlus has announced both the release date and the pre-order bonuses for their first PlayStation 3 title, Demon's Souls. The game is an open-ended fantasy action RPG that allows the player to create their own character and face off against monsters, making use of a plethora of various weapons, which alter the gameplay.
In addition to a standard version of the game, which includes a new boxart exclusive to the North American release, a deluxe version will also be available, which will include a 150+ page strategy guide (not available for retail) and a collectible outer slipcase. Players who pre-order either version, will also receive an art book featuring designs and concept sketches.
Demon's Souls will be available on the PlayStation 3 on October 6th in North America. The standard version will retail for $59.99, and the deluxe version will retail for $69.99. If you wish to pre-order the deluxe version, orders are planned to begin on July 8th.
