Diablo III Auction House May Make Its Way To StarCraft II
Blizzard recently talked about Diablo III's auction house, revealing that not only will it take in-game gold, but real world currency as well. This same trading mechanic may make a move to StarCraft II, according to Activision.
Speaking in an investors call today, Activision noted that the tech powering Diablo III's auction house can be used in Blizzard's popular RTS hit, StarCraft II.
Instead of item trading like in Diablo III, Activision suggested that players will be able to create their own custom maps in StarCraft II and put those up for sale.
