Dragon Quest IX Posts Strong Oversees Sales
Nintendo has announced that Dragon Quest IX has managed to sell rather well oversees, despite Dragon Quest not being a notoriously popular franchise outside of Japan.
The game was published by Nintendo in both North America and Europe, with Square Enix hoping that this would help to boost sales, and it certainly seems to have worked. The game has managed to sell 1.02 million copies outside of Japan since it was released.
Dragon Quest X is in development for the Nintendo Wii, so it'll be interesting to see if Square Enix call on Nintendo again to help them out.
