Dragon Quest IX Ships More Than 3 Million
Since Dragon Quest IX went on sale, it has broken no end of sales records and can only be considered a huge success. However, things are still improving, and quite rapidly.
Famitsu have reported that over 3,000,000 units of the game have now been shipped to Japanese retailers. This is going to be crucial as they prepare for the next wave of sales that are surely inevitable.
These huge sales will hopefully make Square Enix consider a Western release sooner rather than later. However, it's unlikely Nintendo DS players anywhere other than Japan will be enjoying this game for the foreseeable future.
