E3 2011 Awards: Best Demonstration
We've just had an award for the Worst Demonstration during a press conference (unlucky Resistance 3!), so now we've moved on to the award for the Best Demonstration.
It's disappointing when there are more nominations for Worst Demonstration than for Best Demonstration, but most publishers played it safe this year - few showed off things we haven't already seen.
The GamingUnion.net E3 2011 Awards were decided by the five members that attended the show. Each person voted for their first, second and third pick and the votes were then tallied up. Therefore, it's a decision felt by the majority and not an individual.
Best Demonstration Winner: Uncharted 3
Sony's press conference started off with a bang, as the co-presidents of Naughty Dog took to the stage to show off Uncharted 3. They didn't seem overly with it initially, but once the game started rolling, jaws dropped everywhere. The physics on display were astounding - they have upped the graphical ante even further. There were other good demonstrations, but Uncharted 3 was by far the best.
