E3 2011 Awards: Best Press Conference

We've had plenty of time for deliberation now, as E3 ended just over three weeks ago. We figured now would be the perfect time to let you know exactly how we rank the things we saw at the event, so with that, I give you the GamingUnion.net E3 2011 Awards.
The first award is for Best Press Conference. We're starting with this because, well, that's how E3 started. Plus, there aren't exactly many different nomination possibilities either; only Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, EA and Ubisoft actually had one at E3. Other companies, that held pre-E3 conferences like Konami and CD Projekt Red are exempt from being a nominee.
The GamingUnion.net E3 2011 Awards were decided by the five members that attended the show. Each person voted for their first, second and third pick and the votes were then tallied up. Therefore, it's a decision felt by the majority and not an individual.
Best Press Conference Winner: Ubisoft
Despite being arguably the lowest key press conference at this year's show, Ubisoft were in the mood to impress. Not only did they put some thought into how they showed off their games presentation-wise, it was also well structured. More importantly, it was a conference that was all about the games. Far Cry 3 also made a surprise appearance, Assassin's Creed: Revelations dazzled us with some stunning CG and Ghost Recon: Future Soldier even showed up. The only downside was the extended appearance of Mr. Caffeine, but they can't get everything right.
Best Press Conference Nominees:
- Electronic Arts
- Microsoft
- Nintendo
- Sony
- Ubisoft
