EA Dropping Online Support for Older Titles

EA, a company most known for their wide variety of sports-related video games, has announced that they will be shutting down a host of online servers for their multiplayer games in 2010.
This affects some of their last-gen titles, along with some of their early next-gen titles. Some of the games include Facebreaker, Fight Night Round 3, NASCAR 09, Burnout Revenge, FIFA 07, Tiger Woods 07, Marvel Nemesis, Medal of Honor: Rising Sun and Need for Speed: Underground 2.
The shutdown will occur on February 2nd, 2010. EA had this to say in a statement about the move:
All of us at EA would like to thank you for your valued participation in our online gaming community.
We hope that your enthusiasm for these games extends to our current lineup and beyond.
