EA Launches Free-To-Play Mobile Version Of The Sims
EA Mobile has launched a free-to-play version of The Sims for iOS devices called The Sims FreePlay, with in-app purchases available.
This new version allows players to control up to 16 different Sims at a time, rather than focusing on one Sim as with more recent Sims mobile titles, and features in-app purchases ranging from $3.99 to $99.99.
EA noted that this latest smartphone and tablet release marks the company's continued mobile games push strategy, and is the first version of the series to be optimized specifically for iPad.
