EA Sports: Wii MotionPlus "Over Responsive"

EA Sports: Wii MotionPlus

EA Sports are one of the developers who are working with Nintendo's new peripheral for the Nintendo Wii, entitled Wii MotionPlus. It's being used for their upcoming game Grand Slam Tennis, which is due to hit stores in June (just before Wimbledon) and TechRadar had a chance to sit down with Thomas Singleton, who is the producer of the game.

Thomas was certainly impressed with the new peripheral, and stated that:

At times it's overly responsive. It had so much fidelity that at times we have limited that fidelity to make it a compelling experience and giving you full total control.

This is certainly a rather impressive statement and does pose the question about what Wii MotionPlus is actually capable of. Grand Slam Tennis definitely looks like it is reeping the benefits of Nintendo's new piece of kit though, and it will be a very welcome upgrade to Wii Sport's own tennis game.
