EA Won't Be Buying Rock Band Dev, Harmonix
It was announced a few weeks ago that Viacom would be putting up Harmonix, the development studio behind Rock Band and Dance Central, up for sale.
Naturally, one would look to EA as a potential buyer. After all, EA do publish Harmonix's games. It doesn't look like EA are remotely interested though.
"I'm sure some smart investor will buy the business feeling that they can catch a falling knife. But more people have been cut trying to catch falling knives than have benefited from getting the timing exactly right," said EA boss John Riccitiello.
