Fallout: New Vegas Announced For PC, PS3, Xbox 360
During their London showcase, Bethesda announced that they're looking to release a brand new game in the Fallout universe. It's going to be called Fallout: New Vegas and according to Pete Hines, the Vice President of Bethesda Softworks, it is not going to be a direct sequel to the critically acclaimed Fallout 3 that came out in 2008.
Details at the moment are exceedingly brief, but it has been revealed that the gameplay will be very similar to that seen in Fallout 3. It has also been revealed that it will be developed for the PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360.
Further to this, it isn't actually going to be developed by Bethesda either. They will be handing the reigns to Obsidian, who are obviously well known for their exploits in the RPG genre after developing Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2 and Neverwinter Nights 2.
