Famitsu Reveals Square Enix's New ARPG
As revealed by Famitsu, Square Enix is working on a new Action RPG and this time Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy are not involved.
Square Enix didn't let out too much, but they did say that producer Ryutaro Ichimura will be involved in some way and that they have been conducting interviews with gamers across the globe as research for the game. The answers from these surveys will be used to help form the game's direction as far as art and gameplay are concerned. This is the first project which will make use of Square Enix's recent Unreal Engine deal.
The developer has also been posting up classifieds for programmers and designers, but no solid details about the title have been revealed.
