Those who bought the Internet Channel for the Wii before it became free to download can now redeem their free NES title.
Last month, Nintendo allowed free downloads of the Internet Channel, created by Opera (the company behind the Opera desktop and mobile browsers), which was previously only available for those who paid for it.
Because of the change, Nintendo allowed users who had already paid for it to get a free NES title, although it was unknown what title/titles it would be and for how much. Nintendo has confirmed that as long as the title is 500 Nintendo Points, users can select any NES title currently available on the Wii Shop Channel. However, they must redeem the game by 11:59 PM PST on December 31st, 2009.
GamingUnion.net are currently giving away a Nintendo Wii, along with Sky Crawlers and Ghost in the Shell on Blu-Ray. Visit the
