From Dust's PSN, XBLA Sales Exceed 500,000 Copies
Without factoring in the game's PC release, From Dust has managed to sell more than 500,000 copies on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade, Ubisoft has revealed.
Ubisoft believes the success of the title is down to its digital distribution release, with Thomas Paincon stating that "At retail, if you don't have a 90 Metacritic score and millions of fans, it's very risky to launch a new game."
From Dust released on the 27th of July as part of Microsoft's "Summer of Arcade" promotion, with the PC and PlayStation Network versions coming at a later date.
