Gears Of War 3 To Offer 'Season Pass' For Downloadable Content
A 'Season Pass' will be offered alongside the release of Gears of War 3 for all announced DLC packs. With four already announced, the pass will give players instant access to downloadable content upon release.
The pass will cost 2400 Microsoft Points and consumers will essentially be pre-ordering downloadable content. However, as IndustryGamers notes, you'll save quite a bit by purchasing the Season Pass - up to 33 percent lower than retail price.
Gears of War 3 is easily one of the most anticipated games of the year and it's out exclusively on Xbox 360 on September 20. It's already smashed pre-order records, becoming the fastest pre-selling 360 title ever with 1.3 million confirmed pre-orders today.
