Gears of War To Appear In Lost Planet 2 Via DLC
Along with news of the game's official release date, Capcom have also unveiled that Epic Games have given them permission to use two of their most high profile characters in Lost Planet 2, Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago.
Jun Takechi, Lost Planet 2's designer, has always made it clear that he is a firm admirer of the Gears of War franchise, and he even reworked Resident Evil 5's controls to make them feel more Gears-esque. Now it appears he's got one step closer to the franchise.
The characters will be available via DLC exclusively on the Xbox 360 version, but they will be accessible through the game's online multiplayer component as they obviously wouldn't fit into the single player campaign.
