GOTY 2011: Game of the Year Award
It's time for the real deal, as we're about to announce what GamingUnion.net's Game of the Year is for 2011. I know, I can tell you're all really excited!
Narrowing down the list to just ten titles actually proved quite difficult, with the quality being so high throughout the year. As a result, there were some big titles that missed out. But here are our picks for 2011:
Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Dark Souls
Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Saints Row: The Third
The Witcher 2
Bulletstorm
Portal 2
NHL 12
LA Noire
And the Game of the Year for 2011 is..... The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim!
After picking up Best Original Soundtrack, Best PC Game and Best Xbox 360 Game, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has come out on top in the battle for Game of the Year.
GamingUnion.net editors voted it as their top game of the year ahead of Portal 2, Dark Souls and Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, all of which were rather close behind. Congrats once again to Bethesda for making a fantastic game and here's to 2012!
