GOTY 2012: Best PlayStation Vita Game Award

Following on from the Nintendo 3DS/DS award, we're now going to take a look at the "Best PlayStation Vita Game".
It's fair to say that the PlayStation Vita has had a rather interesting year, as it's had to play second fiddle to Nintendo's new platform yet again. However, that hasn't stopped it from producing some stand-out titles. Here are our nominations for this category:
- LittleBigPlanet Vita
- Gravity Rush
- Persona 4 Golden
- Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation
- Silent Hill: Book of Memories
- Ragnarok Odyssey
- Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward
- Sound Shapes
- Rayman Origins
- Uncharted: Golden Abyss
And the Best Vita Game of 2012 is..... Gravity Rush!
Appearing during the middle of the year under a different name to the Japanese release, Gravity Rush flew under the radar for quite a few gamers. However, those who gave it a chance were pleasantly surprised by the compelling story and innovative gameplay.
Developed in-house by Sony's Japan Studio, Gravity Rush proves that Japanese developers still have a lot to bring to game development, even if Sony's haven't had a great deal to show off in recent years.
