Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars Heads to PSP
Rockstar has announced that Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars, the highest-rated Nintendo DS game, will be coming to Sony's PlayStation Portable. The original version on the Nintendo DS was applauded for its attention to detail and for bringing the gameplay and feel of the PlayStation games to a handheld.
The game will be available this Fall in stores, as well as a digital copy via PlayStation Network, for owners of the upcoming PSPgo. It will be an upscaled port of the Nintendo DS version, although no word was given on any extra being included in the PlayStation Portable release.
The Nintendo DS version sold only 89,000 copies in its first month of release, far from the figures the console versions have managed in the same span of time. One reason for the announcement of the port could be to bring in sales from the older PlayStation Portable crowd, which would be more receptive to a adult-oriented game.
