GTA: Chinatown Wars PSP Releasing October 20th
Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars debuted on DS this past March, but due to sales falling short of publisher/developer Rockstar Games' hopes, Chinatown Wars is headed to PSP and just announced to be hitting shelves on October 20th in North America.
Rockstar's previous two portable GTA adaptions, Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories, each sold millions and millions of copies, however, Chinatown Wars has failed to sell even a million units on DS. Due to this the company has redesigned the game for PSP, although no images of the game have been released yet.
Rockstar promises that "first screens and more [are] coming soon," which are hotly anticipated as it is unclear how exactly the game will compare to the DS version and previous GTA titles on PSP, visually. Europe's release date for Chinatown Wars on PSP hasn't been clarified, but Rockstar had previously announced that the game will be released, "in North America and Europe this fall." The game is set for both UMB and PlayStation Network releases.
