Hacker Defaces EA's Public Forums
EA has confirmed that their forum software was defaced by a hacker yesterday who was using a "very new" software exploit with the platform.
EA has moved to reassure its users by stating that there was "no evidence" that any personal data had been "compromised" during the attack and that the software exploit had now been fixed.
"Thank you for your patience whilst the forums were offline and we took the necessary steps to investigate this," said Dan Sheridan, one of EA's community correspondents.
