Halo 3 Is Most Played Game On Xbox Live In 2009

Halo 3 has officially been confirmed as the most played game on Xbox Live throughout 2009, beating out all three Call of Duty titles in the process - quite a feat considering the game was released in 2007.

Call of Duty 4 came in second, while Modern Warfare 2 and World at War were third and fourth respectively. Curiously, Left 4 Dead 2 isn't on the list at all, but the Left 4 Dead 2 Demo does appear in 15th position. The Japanese version of Resident Evil 5 is also higher up than the English version.
