Heavy Rain Not Getting A Sequel
David Cage, founder of Heavy Rain developer Quantic Dream, has gone on record in OPM UK saying Heavy Rain will not receive a sequel. The game hasn't even been released, yet Cage is quite firm in the interview with his reasoning behind keeping Heavy Rain sequel-less,
"I don't want to do a sequel because I've said what I had to say about these characters and this story. Honestly, I have nothing else to say. [...] The game tells a full story, nothing is missing from it."
Cage also believes the value of Quantic Dream as a development studio "lies in its ability to create new IP's." The full interview with David Cage can be found in the pages of the latest OPM UK. Heavy Dream is due out at the end of February across the world.
