Infinity Ward Facing Backlash Over Modern Warfare 2's PC Support
Earlier this week, Robert Bowling of Infinity Ward announced that they would be dropped support for Dedicated Servers with the upcoming release of Modern Warfare 2. Instead, they'd have their own internal system, similar to that of Battle.NET used by Blizzard.
It turns out that the community aren't overly happy about this, and they've started a petition to show their displeasure. It's been going for less than a week, but it's already amassed 120,000 virtual signatures.
It'll be interesting to see what Infinity Ward do here, as it seems like they're fully behind IWNET. However, surely they can't ignore so many people voicing their opinions in this way?
