The wait is almost over for easily one of the most anticipated games of the year, Modern Warfare 2, and companies are still trying to capture the imagination of consumers with their pre-order bonuses.
GameStop are now doing a rather bizarre promotion to all those who pre-order any version of Modern Warfare 2. If consumers trade the game back in before the 13th of December, they will receive $40 - a suitable return on the investment.
Presumably they're doing this to try and get back as many copies as possible for the Christmas rush, but it's definitely one of the weirder pre-order schemes of recent times.
