John Schappert Leaves Microsoft, Joins EA

John Schappert, who was the Corporate Vice President of Xbox Live, has decided to leave Microsoft and go back to the company he joined them from, EA.
This is the second time in three years that the person who lead Microsoft's media briefing has left shortly after, and both times they have left to join EA. The other being Peter Moore, who joined EA Sports.
He had the following to say about his new appointment:
After nearly two decades working in or around this company, I've got EA in my blood. This is a team that is intensely focused on quality and innovation. I'm looking forward to rejoining EA as chief operating officer and helping grow the business on new platforms and in new markets.
In his role at EA, Schappert will become the Chief Operating Officer, effectively making him second in command at EA, behind the CEO John Riccitiello.
