Konami Releasing Free Micro-Transaction PlayStation Vita Launch Title
Konami has announced that they will be releasing a free game for the PlayStation Vita launch in Japan called AR Combat Digi Q: Friend Tank Battalion. It will be a download-only title.
The game will be based around AR technology and will have the first five levels available for free. After that, you'll have to pay money depending on the amount of stages you want to buy. There will be a total of forty stages, with there being varying costs. Stages 6-30 will cost 800 yen, while stages 31-35 will cost 200 yen.
For the first three weeks after the Vita launch, Konami will be reducing the price of stages 6-30 down to 500 yen. It certainly seems like an interesting concept.
