L.A. Noire 'Outperforming Expectations' Despite Issues

Rockstar's L.A. Noire hit store shelves this week to much hullabaloo from both critics and consumers alike. Reception of the game has been incredibly favourable, despite the reported overheating issues on both PS3 and Xbox 360.
"L.A. Noire is currently outperforming at retail and I believe consumers are more forgiving for glitches and bugs than we give them credit for," said EEDAR analyst Jesse Divnich to NowGamer.com.
The game is expected to sell 4 to 5 million units within the 2012 financial year. As for the overheating issues, both Rockstar and Sony have released a joint statement noting that neither are to be blamed for the problem.
